A Helpful Map Of The Area Surrounding Yankee Stadium, Now And In The Future

With all of the construction in the South Bronx over the past couple of years and all of the construction still to come, it is easier than ever to become disoriented while in the area.

Luckily for all of those who are easily lost, there is this helpful map:

People "meeting at the bat" are going to be in for a rude awakening when they end up meeting at Heritage Field. Its time to find a new place to meet that is adjacent to the Stadium. Any ideas?

Forget the bat...it's always been "Meet in front of McDonald's" for me!
By the interlocking NY at gate 4.
They really left the bat there? I thought they would move it. That seems to me like a bad idea.
Is that an official map? That's the first time I've heard that they are leaving The Bat. I previously heard that they were cutting it down into thousands of pieces to sell as memorabilia.

I have to be honest, I'm unsure of how official that map is. It seems to be
from the NYC parks and rec website for the development of the area, but I'm
not sure if it is dated or not.

"Meet at the bowling alley" still works, it'll just be a little longer walk to the stadium.

The map is in the 2009 Ticket Info guide that fans received today, so I guess it must be official. I thought they'd move the bat over to the new joint, I swear I remember hearing that (along with stained glass windows in the Great Hall...apparently now it's just going to be banners of Yankee greats? Does anyone else remember hearing that?)
they can't move the bat - it wasn't a statue it was a smokestack that they made look like a bat in a bit of whimsey.
