I don't know if you guys are working today or have access to TV but you should try to catch the seats in the legend and field level behind home plate. It's a virtual ghost town. Please comment on this today if you have a chance.
Explanation for the number of home runs in New Yankee Stadium (aside from garbage pitching)? The Yankees did not replicate the exact dimensions of the renovated YS in the new YS. The outfield wall is straight from the right field corner to centerfield rather than curved (in order to fit in more seats?). As a result, it is shorter according to this report...

Hi. I've read the official Yankees website description of the Mohegan Sun Sports bar seats, and I've read the write on this site. However, I am still slightly confused, so some enlightenment would be greatly appreciated.

When I click on tickets for a single game from the yankees.com schedule page, and choose 2 seats in the "Mohegan Sun Sports Bar" I get the choice to purchase two tickets at 90 bucks a piece - "Mohegan Sun Sports Bar 8 PRICE LEVEL 17."

So, great, but what does this mean? Is this ALL I need to walk into Yankee Stadium, sit down inside the Mohegan Sun Sports Bar" for the entire duration of the game and watch? Or do I need an additional ticket for a "regular" seat somewhere in the stadium? Do I get to spend the entire game inside the Mohegan Sun Sports Bar, or do I get a limited amount of time?
Hey StadiumInsider..thanks for the reply.

I was a bit confused because here in California, where I live, Angels Stadium, Staples Center, have a few of these types of clubs/bars/etc where you actually pay 60, 70, 100 bucks for a ticket to gain access to the bars, BUT you still need a regular seat as well to gain entrance to the stadium.

The idea is that you buy a regular seat like anyone else, and if you shell out the extra $$$ for a ticket to one of these bars, you can pop in and out of the bar during the game.

I was confused as to whether or not the Mohegan Sun Sports Bar was the same scenario....so I gather it's not. You get a seat for 90 bucks in the Sports Bar and that is your seat, for the duration of the game.

Thanks for the info.

So you know, there is also the option that you spoke of. They have
memberships where full season ticket holders can buy "access" to the bar
for $750 for the whole season, but they don't get to sit in seats in the
bar - they need to buy seats somewhere in the stadium! Glad you found the
answer to your question!
hello i come representing the fight to save the origanal gate 2 of the old Yankee Stadium. Our plan is that during the deconstrucion of the O.Y.S ( Old Yankee Stadium ) that they do not take down the Gate 2 entrance to it. Please look into this website and look at our plan and read our download's and if you can, put this link on the home page or write someting about it on the home page. Thank for reading this

I am looking for help!! I'm going to surprise my husband with a trip to NYC for this birthday. He would LOVE to see a Yankees game. I don't know where to buy the tickets, how much to pay, where to sit, and what game to choose. Wanting value tickets. We're booked for April 10-17, 2010. Help?! Thank you.

I have been searching for information for years and although people seem knowledgeable there seems to be nobody that knows the answer. I have been trying to find the last name of the Greek family that owned a concession at Yankee Stadium in 1971. The family is from New Jersey. I have been told Grecco, which is Italian and Marcelle which appears nowhere. Carvel is the only one that I can find but after researching Carvel indepth I cannot find Mike anywhere. I even contacted Legends and Centreplate the owners of the concession that lease out concessions but they don't seem to know either. Anybody out there know anything? Would be a big help.
