PBR Update: Yankees Marketing $9 Tall Boy as "Retro Beer"

Apparently, at New Stadium Insider, we are all beer, all the time.

Sometimes, a picture is worth more than 1,000 words (taken from inside of the new Yankee Stadium today):

That provides some confirmation after earlier speculation. The Pabst Blue Ribbon beers for $9 are the 24 oz. variety, and they are actually being marketed as "retro beer."

I mentioned that PBR spans across generations, but I really didn't foresee the Yankees marketing it as such. The sad thing is, the hipsters will totally buy into it.

Retro Beer has apparently replaced the "Beers of the World" at NYS. Anyway, sucking down a tall boy of PBR will really bring me back...to like five years ago, when I was still in college. Are they also selling blacklight posters and lava lamps at NYS???
Mmmm ... PBR! It should be $9 per case, not per can, but we all know better. Beers of the World is still around, but it's not marked as Beers of the World, just Beer. There's one right behind my section (312).
