Freddy "Sez" I'm Demoralized - Go Get Your Own Pan To Bang On


The World Famous "Freddy Sez," in happier times

Things are getting bad at the new Yankee Stadium. Below is a video of the World famous Freddy "Sez," utterly demoralized and sitting in the expensive seats behind home plate. This marks the first time that we have ever seen Freddy sitting down at a Yankee game.

The worst part? It was "only" the 5th inning and the score was "only" 16-2 when this video was shot. We didn't know whether to offer him a shoulder to cry on or ask him to bang on his lucky pan. We ended up just leaving him alone.

The new stadium isn't "Freddy Friendly". Are the ushers allowing him into sections where he doesn't have tickets?

Yes. The section you are looking at is one of the more expensive field level sections.

I didn't see until now, but I did hear from my friends that he did walk around (briefly) in the legends section. Considering how the "ushers" are, that must mean they know to let him in.

And those are very very expensive seats.

I thought some of the folks who have paid alot might or would complain about him being around (since they paid alot for tickets and stuff), but then again, they are Yankee fans too, and he is popular.

I'm sure Freddy misses the field level runways in the main level and upper deck. I was a new stadium skeptic, and after attending my first game there I can honestly say I can't stand it. It's as bad as I thought. It's the same as all the other new stadiums. I don't see where that billion dollar price tag came from. Did the limestone cost all that much, or did all the money go into the luxury suites? Except for the fact the new stadium has 8 thousand seats than the average new stadium I don't see what's all that different than the generic new ballparks.
