A Sea Of Red In The Bronx, As Phillies Fans Take Over Yankee Stadium

Apparently, all of the rich Yankees fans are out in the Hamptons for the first summer weekend, as Phillies fans have taken over at the new Yankee Stadium. Nick exaggerated and said 50% of the fans were rooting for the bad guys on Friday night. Here is a photo on TwitPic illustrating all of the red in the bleachers. The person taking the photo estimated 35% Phillies fans.

Regardless of the exact percentage, it is pretty embarrassing that it takes a well-traveling fan base to fill the seats at the "new house." Yankee fans have some explaining to do, and it better not be that they sold their tickets because it is a holiday weekend.
