Protest Bud Selig By Voting Manny As A 2009 All-Star

Jason from It Is About The Money, Stupid has started a great blog with the intent of getting Manny Ramirez voted as a 2009 NL All-Star Game starter.

Why would he come up with such an idea? Here's why:

To highlight the silliness that are the MLB rules towards PED users as well as their "head in the sand" approach to this situation. Rather than confront it head-on, MLB is choosing to do nothing and simply hope there are three higher vote getters in the NL OF.

We're on board for the same reason we root for every All-Star game to end in a tie - just to see Bud Selig squirm.

So, why not help to stuff the ballot box and move Manny from 4th place to 3rd place? While you're there, vote for Johnny Damon in the AL - it would be great if he could get an All-Star start in his last year in Pintripes after being one of the best free agent signings Brian Cashman has ever made.
