The minor league starters shut down their opponents, across the board. Kei Igawa gave up no runs in 7 innings, while Jeramy Bleich gave up 1 run in 6.2 innings (Trenton), DJ Mitchell 1 run in 7 innings (Tampa) and Jose Ramirez 1 run in 6 innings (GCL). Staten Island was rained out.
Our dueling catchers, Jesus Montero and Austin Romine both had 3 hit nights.
