The NSI Minor League Report: Brackman Shows His Stuff

Monday 5/11

Scranton got shut out, but Austin Jackson continued his multiple hit streak, going 2 for 4 with a double. Trenton also lost, while Tampa won a 7 inning, shortened game. Dellin Betances started and gave up 3 runs and 4 hits, while getting only 1 out. There was a lengthy rain delay, and Betances didn't come back out. Jesus Montero continued his hitting spree, going 2 for 4 with a triple.

In Charleston, Andrew Brackman had his best game as a pro, going 8 innings with only 1 walk and 9 strikeouts. His velocity touched 99, and most of his strikeouts were on the knuckle curve. Charleston lost in the 14th inning.
