The NSI Minor League Report: Wang Doesn't Wilt

Chien Ming Wang had a successful start for Scranton, throwing 6 innings of shutout ball, while giving up only 3 hits. His velocity was better, at 93, but still not up to 95 MPH. He will probably get another start for Scranton, before resuming in The Bronx.

Scranton, Trenton and Tampa all lost. Jesus Montero continues to hit for Tampa, getting two hits and two RBI's. In Charleston Brett Marshall had his best game as a pro, giving up 1 hit in 6 innings.
