The NSI Minor League Report: Montero Four Fer

Jesus Montero went 4 for 5 in a losing cause for Tampa, as the 19 year old has his batting average up to .369. Charleston won behind 7 innings of no ball by Hector Noesi (with only 1 walk). Closer, Pat Venditte, blew the no hitter and shutout by surrendering a solo home run in the 9th.

Scranton lost to old friend Jose Contreras, was demoted after pulling a Chien Ming Wang for the Chicago White Sox. He dominated the Scranton lineup, although Austin Jackson still managed to go 1-3 with a walk.

Trenton won, behind a 1 hit game by Ryan Pope.
