The NSI Minor League Report: Walk Off Win and Loss

Sunday 5/10

Scranton lost 3-0 in the 11th inning on a 3 run walk off homer given up by recently demoted Mark Melancon. Trenton was on the positive side of the ledger, with a walk off homer, by Jose Gil.

Kei Igawa actually pitched a solid game, throwing 8 innings of shutout ball for Scranton, while Austin Jackson went 2 for 4 and had an assist, throwing out a runner at 2nd. Trenton didn't have a starting pitcher available with all the call-ups, so they had the bullpen patch the game together.

Tampa and Charleston were off.
