Scranton got bombed before fill in pitcher, Jason Stevens, who was called up from Tampa (A ball). Shelley Duncan continues to be a wrecking machine, hitting two doubles. Juan Miranda, was pulled from the game after his first at-bat, around the same time that Nick Swisher was hit by a pitch. Speculation was that he would be called up, if the elbow was bad, but Miranda actually had a stomach virus.
Trenton lost 9-7 as the bullpen, behind Michael Dunn imploded for 6 runs. Tampa lost, while Delin Betances struggles to find the plate. He's walked 11 batters in the last 16 innings. Charleston was the only winner in the Yankees minor league system. Carmen Angelini didn't make an error for the 2nd straight game. Maybe he'll stop thinking so much, and relax.
