The NSI Minor League Report: Shelley Double Dunks

Thursday 5/30

Scranton won again, and their record stands at 17-3. Shelley Duncan hit two home runs and now leads the International League in home runs and RBI's. Austin Jackson went 2-3, and stole a base. He's now 6 for 6 in the stolen base department. Kei Igawa struggled, but the relievers picked him up.

Trenton lost and struggles to hit. Their record stands at 9-9. Mike Ashmore has a good recap of the action.

Tampa lost, while managing an anemic offense. The only bright spot, was that Austin Romine hit his first home run of the year. Charleston lost, despite getting 5 runs, and having solid pitching, but their defense let them down for 2 unearned runs (none were due to Angelini).
