The NSI Minor League Report: May 6th

Scranton was rained out, while Trenton finally got their bats going. Trenton scored 10 runs in a 7 inning rain shortened game. They squeaked out a 10-8 win due to their pitchers issuing 11 walks. Jorgue Vazquez had 4 RBI's and a home run.

Tampa won behind a more in control Dellin Betances. Betances gave up 1 run in 6 innings, and kept his walks down to two, with no wild pitches or HPB's. Charleston lost despite another encouraging pitching effort by DJ Mitchell, who gave up 1 earned run in 7 innings, with 8 strikeouts. DJ has a 1.95 ERA with 6 walks and 42 strikeouts.
